Dreams I had before Squeemu woke me up with her text

An acquaintance/friend who like me recently moved (in RL to Chicago from Muskegon, we worked at Target in Muskegon together) came to my funky ass dream apartment, you know those places in dreams which are a conglomeration of many places; apparently it was my apartment in Grand Rapids. Anyway he showed up out of nowhere after I had just gotten off work and asked me if I wanted to go anywhere. I looked at him askance and he clarified “if I needed to go shopping/buy anything” almost in the exact same way my mom asks when I’m back home in Lincoln from Omaha or GH from GR. Odd. Then our mutual friend from work, that in RL he hangs out with and I don’t, turns out to be one of my roommates. Can’t remember what roommate guy said now but I just find it odd that he was conjured up as one of my two roommates.

Then the only part of this next dream I could remember was the fancy earbuds that I had in! Like ipod ear buds but they were wireless and the size of a crumb or the tip of a ball point pen. I had them in listening to something and someone came up to talk to me and I had to scratch once in my ear to get it to catch under my finger nail to pull it out so I could ask “what did you say?” to the person and they considered this very normal. But hey, tiny technology! I think it’s cool.

Then there was some dream with my cats which I know why I was dreaming that dream, I had closed Lexie out of the room for part of last night. I really wanted to sleep with my door shut, but the voice in the back of my head kept going on about how her kitty litter is in my room and what if she pees/poops in the living room and my roommate finds it. That wouldn’t be pretty now would it? So I know why I had a dream about my parents cats crying in my room/house and me opening the window and sliding out it to find Lexie in the front yard hiding in the bushes all by her lonesome. But the last part of that dream had a dead mouse, like neck snapped dead, flopping/jumping in the air slowly making its way up the front path and into the front door. By the time it got to the door way I was all “wtf don’t come into my house zombie magically flying mouse!” and I closed it in the door, crushing it.

Then there was flesh eating maggot lady. I have no idea why my dreams took a turn for the eww but they did. She was a pretty blonde lady kinda like Naomi Watts who’s face was sort of wrinkling and moving on its own or something. Like someone had thrown acid on her face and it was starting to bubble/melt. When I asked her what was wrong she showed me a picture in a text book of her in the future and her face and eyes had been totally gone, saying she was killed by flesh eating maggots that ate her face. I was obviously concerned for her, she was going to die from this face problem. Asked her if she had any medicine or a cure to stop the FE maggots and she said she does! A flask of colorless and clear liquid was over on the table and it is supposed to be able to kill the maggots. Then maggot lady became mean and leaned over my bed and dropped a few of her FE maggots onto my bed and they burrowed under my sheets disappeared. The lady just laughed at my horrified expression. I had to sleep in that bed! So I asked that roommate (the guy in the previous dream) to do something and help me and he didn’t seem all that concerned about it. So I grabbed the flask and poured it all over my bed and the lady stopped laughing. I think that was her only cure. Don’t know why she didn’t use it when she got it then. But I think my pouring it onto my bed effectively caused her death like the textbook with the picture showed.

Now I’m going to watch an HBO show about Gloria Steinem that I DVR-ed last night!
